Driving a supercar in Paris: safety, insurance and support
Many people wonder if driving a Ferrari or Lamborghini through the streets of Paris is safe. At Evasio, safety is the foundation of the experience. Here's everything you need to know about our safety measures, insurance and professional support.
A professional co-pilot always on board
Every Evasio experience includes a trained professional co-pilot who accompanies you from start to finish. They're an expert in supercar driving in Paris, who knows every avenue, every roundabout and every trick to make your experience smooth and enjoyable.
Before departure, the co-pilot gives you a full 5-minute briefing. They explain the paddle shifters, mirror adjustment, seat position and present the planned route.
During the drive, the co-pilot manages GPS and navigation, tells you which turns to take, warns you about traffic zones and adapts the route in real time. They also take photos and videos with your phone throughout the route.
Insurance and full coverage
All Evasio vehicles are covered by professional liability insurance (RC pro). This insurance covers the entire duration of the experience and protects the driver, passengers and third parties.
Unlike traditional supercar rental, where agencies require a deposit of 5,000 to 10,000€ and additional insurance fees, Evasio requires no deposit. The only cost is the experience price itself (from 180€). Insurance is included, hidden fees don't exist.
Vehicle maintenance and inspection
The Ferrari California T and Lamborghini Huracán Spyder in the Evasio fleet are maintained to manufacturer specifications by authorised professionals. Each vehicle undergoes a regular maintenance programme.
Before each session, vehicles are visually and mechanically inspected to ensure optimal operation. Tyres, brakes, oil and coolant levels are checked.
City driving vs track: why Paris is safer than you think
Contrary to popular belief, driving a supercar in the city is safer than a track. On a track day, speeds reach 150-250 km/h and the risk of going off track is real. In Paris, the average speed is 30-50 km/h, letting you fully enjoy the car without high-speed risk.
The wide avenues of the 8th and 16th arrondissements — Champs-Élysées, avenue Foch, avenue Montaigne — are ideal for supercars. They offer perfect visibility, wide lanes and manageable traffic.
In case of unexpected events
The co-pilot is trained to handle all unexpected situations:
Rain
The Ferrari California T has a retractable hardtop that closes in 14 seconds. The Lamborghini Spyder has a fabric roof. The experience remains enjoyable in wet weather with the roof closed.
Traffic jam
The co-pilot adapts the route in real time using their knowledge of Paris and GPS. They know alternative routes to maximise your smooth driving time.
You don't want to drive
No problem! If you'd rather not drive — or if during the ride you no longer feel comfortable — the co-pilot can take the wheel at any time. You continue the experience as a passenger with the same thrills, the same route and the same photos. No penalty, no extra charge.
Mechanical issue
Extremely rare thanks to rigorous maintenance. If an issue arises, immediate assistance is available and the experience is rescheduled free of charge.
